As well as Tron Helicopters and egodrift motors, I have other equipment that has performed well for many years and are generally my go-to bits and pieces.
VBar and VControl
When I came back to helicopters in 2013 I tried a few flybarless systems such as the 3GX, Spirit, Spartan, etc. Eventually I moved onto the VBar Mini Blueline and stuck with that. When Mikado brought out the NEO and original VControl, I changed over, and moved onto the VControl Touch a few years ago. I fly the NEO mostly, but I also have a EVO on the Tron Gemini that I’m testing.
ManiaX Batteries
I generally use Maniax 6S 5500 Bossion packs in 12S configuration. This gives me enough time to complete a 6 minute F3N set manoeuvres flight, as well as longevity where packs last over 900 cycles.

Azure Blades
I’ve used the Red Azure 700 blades for a long time, and now I’ve moved on to using the Pro 700s for a less aggressive feel.
I tried the longer 715 blades, and although they gave a really nice feel, I found they lost a significant amount of flying time compared to the 700s.

HobbyWing
I also use HobbyWing Electronic Speed Controllers. I’ve currently got the new Hobbywing Platinum 180A HV SBEC V5 ESC.

GDW Servos
I’ve used GDW servos for a very long time, as I find they give me an incredibly long service life, and gear sets are cheap and easy to replace if you ever damage them.
Basically they’re a really good servo, for a really good price, and they last long and crash well.
